David Walters Live in Bangalore – A Night to Remember
 

On the evening of June 27th, the auditorium at Alliance Française de Bangalore turned into a warm, glowing space filled with rhythm, soul and joy! David Walters, the French-Caribbean artist touring with Soul Tropical, brought not just music but stories, heart, and connection to the stage. Before each song, he shared the people and the stories that shaped it — pulling the audience into his world and making the music feel personal and close.

The evening opened with a surprise musical act by Jean-Marc Dépierre, Director of Alliance Française Bangalore, where the entire audience joined in singing together. That spirit of togetherness carried through the entire evening!

David performed alongside two exceptional Indian musicians — Ragatrix on electric veena and Sumukh Ravishankar on percussion. Their collaboration was electric, weaving Caribbean beats and Indian rhythms into something unique and moving. Bathed in golden-orange light and surrounded by a beautiful stage set-up, the atmosphere was quite surreal. It was a full house - over 200 people filled the auditorium and spontaneous reactions flowed between the artists and audience throughout the evening. David’s warmth and presence left a lasting impression on everyone who had the chance to witness this special soirée!
