David Walters India Tour: Bhopal

On the occasion of World Music Day, Alliance Française de Bhopal was thrilled to have David Walters and the crew perform live in the city. Held at the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum, the concert attracted an intergenerational crowd from all over the city (around 300 people attended the event). The auditorium went full in no time, and soon the energy of the music had everyone on their feet – the audience left their seats and started dancing in the aisle. By the end, the atmosphere was euphoric, as the audience joyfully took over the stage. On the audience’s special request, David Walters and team even added a playful Bollywood twist to the evening. For the second consecutive year, Alliance Francaise de Bhopal collaborated with Madhya Pradesh Department of Culture for an Indo French musical evening celebrating the World Music Day. David Walters’ concert was followed by a performance of Indian classical music by a Delhi-based artist Rita Dev.
